Ruth Rabba (aka Midrash Rut)
Ruth Rabbah,
also known as Midrash Ruth, is a
midrash on
the
Book of Ruth.
It presents verse-by-verse interpretations of most of
the biblical book and was compiled in the Land of
Israel. Its
exegesis frequently incorporates
homiletic material, scriptural cross-references, and
introductory poems or sequences of poems.
