Lu et al. (2020) report a Mass Movement Deposit in the ICDP 5017-1 Core from the Dead Sea. A calibrated radiocarbon-derived age of 1753–1841 CE was obtained (153 ± 44 yrs BP). The Mass Movement Deposit is 3 cm thick. Lu et al. (2020) estimate a local PGA of 0.09 g, corresponding to a local MMI intensity of ~VI (6), and suggest that the deposit is attributable to the 1834 CE Fellahin Revolt Quake.
