Lu et al. (2020) detected a Mass Movement Deposit in the ICDP 5017-1 Core taken in the Dead Sea. Bayesian modeling of radiocarbon data was used to estimate an age between 390 and 484 CE ( 1σ). The Mass Movement Deposit was 2.7 cm thick. Lu et al. (2020) estimated a local PGA of 0.09 g, a local MMI intensity of VI (6), and suggested that the deposit was due to one of the 419 CE Monaxius and Plinta Quake.
