Braun (2009:71–72) used U-Th dating, combined with three-dimensional isochrons, to identify a seismic event constrained with 2σ confidence to between 3600 and 2000 BCE (4.8 ± 0.8 ka). This age estimate is derived from five pre and post seismic samples from around the cave, among them DN-2, which is a type A speleo-seismite.
