Russell (1985) cites Yeivin (1973: 157) when he relates that "it has been suggested that the early 5th century destruction evidence at Khorazin relates to this earthquake [ 419 CE Monaxius and Plinta Quake]". Yeivin in Stern et al (1993 v.1) describes a partial destruction in the early 4th century CE, rebuilding in the late 4th/early 5th centuries CE, and a decline leading to abandonment starting in the 8th century CE. Jones (2021) reports that Magness has disputed archaeological evidence for "this earthquake" [ 419 CE Monaxius and Plinta Quake] at Khorazin and other sites in the Galilee ( Magness, 1997: 217–218; Magness, 2005: 8–10; Magness, 2007: 271–272; Magness, 2012: 113–114).
