1068 CE Quake(s) Abu 'Ali ibn al-Banna' does not state a source for the 18 March 1068 CE earthquake classifying it as "news". He states that his source for the 29 May 1068 CE earthquake were merchants to the residence of the Shaikh Ajall Ibn Jarada which may have been in the form of a letter (see also Sources for Ibn al-Jawzi).
