The anonymous Minor Chronicles are a group of short Byzantine historical notes composed in Greek, often preserving concise records of natural and political events. These compact entries frequently complement or clarify information found in the larger Byzantine chronicles such as those of Theophanes and Cedrenus.

The extant texts of the Minor Chronicles were collected and translated into German by Schreiner (1979) in his edition of the Byzantinischen Kleinchroniken.
