One of three chronicles from the Latin East known as Les Gestes des Chiprois, the other
two being the Histoire de la guerre qui fu entre l'empereur Frederic II et Johan d'Ibelin
by Philippe de Navarre, and the Chronique du Templier de Tyr,
attributed to Gerard de Montreal. It covers the period 1132-1224, and takes many of
the events it records from the Estorie de Eracles and the Annales de Terre
Sainte.
