In a terse passage, Eusebius wrote that "Nicopolis [aka Emmaus] and Caesarea were ruined in an earthquake" in the 1st year of the 227th Olympiad which works out to 1 July 129 CE to 30 June 130 CE. More or less using Eusebius as his source, Elias of Nisibis wrote that Nicopolis and Caesarea were overthrown in an earthquake in A.G. 438 which works out to 1 Oct. 126 to 30 Sept. 127 CE.
