Cyril of Jerusalem wrote a detailed description of the time and date of the earthquakes along with the names of towns and areas damaged. Also mentioned the Temple rebuilding project and states that strong winds and storms delayed the rebuilding project for a day and that the earthquakes then struck on the night that followed the day of storm delay. Mentions a fire and heavy rain causing many people to perish and a flame of fire emanating from a synagogue after the earthquake(s) which burned a number of people alive. Says there was a great loss of life. Dates the first earthquake to ~1030 pm on 18 May 363 CE and the 2nd earthquake to ~430 am on 19 May 363 CE. Indicates that Jerusalem experienced stronger shaking during the 1st earthquake.
