He gives a brief description of the earthquake and tsunami,
stating that “the sea coast of Phoenicia was submerged —
Tripoli, Beirut, Byblos, and Troas [Tyre] (sic.) — along with
the cities of Galilee.” He may also include a report of
seismic damage in
Laodicea.
