Chronicon Ad Annum 1234
states that in
A.G. 1449 (1 October 1137 to 30 September 1138 CE),
there was a strong earthquake and that
several towns collapsed, especially in Cilicia and Syria.
The powerful citadel of Atarib is said to have sunk
into the earth as if it had never existed. Jerusalem was
reported to be unaffected.
